Djäkn Lydeke

Lydeke, the ancestor of the family, is not found in contemporary documents. The sons seem to have moved to Finland.

Klas Djäkn was married to Kristina Jönsdotter (mentioned 1435), daughter of Councilor Jöns Andersson (Garp). Klas Lydekason\'s manor was Nynäs in Nousis. He had 3 historically famous sons and 7 daughters. One of his sons was the lawyer Henrik Klasson (Djäkn) (1405-1458).

As late as 1411 he was district chief there, but no more in 1412. He is mentioned as district chief in Upper Satakunta in 1419 and still 1460. He was councilor 1435–1439. He is mentioned as a castle chief at Hämeenlinna in 1437 and as a castle bailiff in 1443. He is mentioned as living on March 14, 1460. Married no later than 1446 to Valborg Jönsdotter. They had two sons and a daughter.As Councilor, he participated in the council meetings on Långholmen near Stockholm in 1435 and in Kalmar in 1436, in Söderköping the same year and in Tälje in 1438. [1]The family was extinct with his son Petrus Benedicti, parish priest in Karkku in 1484. One of his daughters was married to the Tawast family.
