Fincke Gödik Nilsson

Gödeke Nilsson or Gödeke Fincke (son of Nils Rengonpoika, tab. 3). Well-born man, appears 1490—1518. The information that he was a bailiff (governor) at Hämeenlinna in 1519 and 1520, lacks support in preserved sources. Owned land in Mälikkälä in Reso sn, apparently heirloom after grandfather Jöns Rengonpoika d. Ä. Also owned Perno farm in Reso sn and estate in Pargas sn, all in Southwest Finland, and Sunnäs in Ulvsby sn in Nedre Satakunda, the later wife\'s heirloom. - Was previously married to Ingeborg Andersdotter at Liesniemi in Sagu sn in Southwest Finland and later to Margareta Gustavsdotter, daughter of the district chief in Ostrobothnia Gustav Slätte and Brita Pedersdotter (Sword, older family). This later marriage was perhaps entered into before 1511, when Gödeke Fincke issued a deed of succession in his wife\'s home parish Ulvsby in Nedre Satakunda, in that case before the issuance of the morning gift deed on 24.6 1518. Wife Margareta was still alive 8.2 1545. Inheritance after her took place 12.9 1549
