All later members of the family are descended from their son the lawyer of the Karelian law saga Mårten Boije af Gennäs, who as a wife had a granddaughter of Lars Olofsson Björnram in his first marriage, Hans Larsson Björnram and his wife Anna Ollon. However, he had a brother, Councilor Göran Boije, who became the ancestor of a branch that was introduced at the Estonian House of Lords as barons, but this branch was extinguished in 1850.
